SUPERPOWERS FOR A DAY

A LITTLE GIRL WAS TELLING HER MOTHER ALL ABOUT HER HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT FOR THAT EVENING. AND IT SOUNDED VERY INTERESTING TO ME.  SHE EXPLAINED THAT SHE HAD TO IMAGINE SHE WAS A SUPER HERO AND WRITE A STORY ABOUT BEING A SUPERHERO FOR A DAY. SHE COULD HAVE ANY SUPERPOWERS SHE WANTED.

AT FIRST I THOUGHT HOW DIFFICULT THAT WOULD BE TO DECIDE ON ONE GREAT POWER. BUT JUST THEN A LADY JOINED US IN LINE AT THE GROCERY STORE. SHE WAS ON HER CELL PHONE HAVING AN ARGUMENT WITH SOMEONE. SHE SIMPLY HAD NO CONCEPT OF THE FACT THAT WE DID NOT CARE TO HAVE TO LISTEN TO HER AIR OUT HER DIRTY LAUNDRY FOR ALL THE WORLD TO HEAR. SHE DID NOT CARE THAT SHE WAS BEING RUDE, INCONSIDERATE AND ANNOYING.

JUST THEN I THOUGHT  I KNOW, IF I COULD HAVE ANY SUPERPOWER; I WOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO GIVE PEOPLE COMMON SENSE. I WOULD GIVE THEM THE GIFT OF ‘USING THEIR NOODLES. AND THINK!!!
